Another of Woodcrafters popular styles in the ‘Eastwood’. The customer who first brought this style to us brought in a copy of ‘Architectural Digest Magazine’ with a picture of Clint Eastwood on the cover. The mantle they wanted was shown in a Cape Cod style house but for some reason we just started to call this style the ‘Eastwood’. Due to the style, fewer changes are available for this mantle beyond the usual changes in wood specie (oak, cherry, maple, walnut, etc.) or some minor detailing such as the choice of cove or crown moulding. Even though it looks very simple it is actually one of the more challenging mantles to build. Our professional craftsmen have mastered all of the mitered corners, perfectly aligned boxes, and the matching of the vertical and horizontal grain of the wood when needed. No matter how simple the design or complex the detail, our experienced staff knows what it takes to achieve everything our customers imagine, each and every time.
